Why Do Celebrities Treat Jail Time like a Vacation
When it is fairly standard these days to serve only one third of a sentence in prison, that should have meant a term of 23 days, but somehow in her case it has been reduced to one that is almost insignificant.
Reports have also surfaced that she has been allowed to take prescription drugs with her into prison, but sadly has had to remove her false eyelashes and hair extensions, and she will have to wear the standard orange jumpsuit like all the other inmates.
Maybe the authorities think that she might be planning to do a Rapunzel type escape or something.
Lindsay Lohan arrived at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California on Tuesday morning, and will be spending her term alone in a 12 foot by 8 foot cell. You can see pictures of her admission and of the orange jumpsuit HERE.
After she had been admitted to the facility, her attorney told reporters "Lindsay is asking for your prayers and support. She has stepped up and accepted responsibility".
We are left to wonder however, whether the cell in which Lindsay is going to be spending the next week and a bit is anything like those you see in the movies, just basic with a bed and toilet, and bare walls, or is it going to be more like a hotel room, with television, games consoles and a computer for example.
According to the gossip site Handbag, a spokesman for the sheriff's office said that Lindsay is settling into prison and she has been very cooperative. She has been given a private cell to help keep her away from the general population of the prison.
If nothing else, maybe a week of solitude might help Lindsay to realize what a mess she is making of her life, and give her some ideas on how to turn her life around.
If she doesn't take this time out to make plans to change her ways, she could well just stay on the path to self destruction, as taken by so many other Hollywood starlets.
We wish her well and hope that she makes the right choices.

This is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard of. She had a warrant out for her arrest, she skipped a court date--if this were you or I we'd have days added ON to our sentence not taken away. I could say more here but seriously I'mjust pissed!
