Continuing to feel the effects of her past poor decisions, Lindsay Lohan has officially been axed from starring in the upcoming movie "Inferno".

While she had been set to play lead role Linda Lovelace, director Matthew Wilder has since told E! News, "We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan."

Explaining that he has no ill feelings against the "Mean Girls" actress, Wilder continued, "We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support. Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her -- and some other issues -- have made it impossible for us to go forward."

As for the lucky lady who'll reap the benefits of Lohan's departure, Matthew explained, "We are currently in negotiations [with another actress] and working out the legalities of bringing her onboard."

Enjoying more freedom nowadays, Lindsay Lohan was spotted leaving her sober living house in Palm Desert, CA on Friday evening (November 19).

Seemingly in a good mood, the "Georgia Rule" star was looking refreshed as she took off her sunglasses before getting into her car for a dinner outing with her friends.

In related news, AP reports tell that LA Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler cited insufficient evidence in his decision to dismiss felony burglary charges against Rachel Lee - who burglarized a handful of stars including LiLo.

The judge indicated that prosecutors may be able to pursue a new case, but at the current time Judge Fidler told, "You have a nice receiving [charge]... You don't have a burglary."
