Lindsay Lohan is on the Road Again or Maybe Not

I am sure this wouldn't happen so easily with a driving offender who wasn't a celebrity, but it seems that the Los Angeles County Probation Department have given the go ahead to Lindsay Lohan for her to drive again.

In addition, the Betty Ford Clinic has also approved her to drive, but then suddenly changed their minds, deciding that it's too risky to allow to get behind the wheel of a car.

Lindsay is furious because just when she thinks that everything is back to normal and she can drive again, the Betty Ford Clinic changed their mind, and she is claiming that it's all because of the paparazzi who keep chasing her, and she wants them to give her some space.

She is so mad about being chased by the media in fact, that she is beyond asking them nicely, she has been asking her lawyer to get a restraining order placed on them, having reportedly emailed him pictures of them following her.

Whether or not having the paparazzi following you is reason enough to prevent Lindsay Lohan from driving I don't know, it was definitely a factor in the death of Princess Dianna, but then she wasn't the one behind the wheel of the car that she was traveling in.

Given Lindsay Lohan's previous record for driving, that ought to be reason enough to keep her off the road for a while yet, but I guess like so many other celebrities who just keep getting into trouble, she doesn't realize that the paparazzi wouldn't follow her everywhere if there wasn't going to be a good story to come out of it.

Stick Lindsay Lohan behind the wheel of her car again, and how long I wonder will it be before she has done something else to add to her notoriety?

Months? I doubt it. Weeks? More likely. Days? I would be prepared to wager a bet on it.
