Lindsay Lohan took to her Twitter account Friday evening and admitted to failing at least one court mandated drug test last week. Multiple media outlets, including TMZ, report Lohan tested positive for cocaine. Lindsay faces 30 days in jail for every failed drug test.

Lohan tweeted: "Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result."

Lohan went on to say, "Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps."

Most would agree the most important step would be to get rid of those so-called "friends" she has and surround herself with positive people who will support her as she goes through the recovery process. That is, if she is truly sincere in wanting to recover from her drug abuse.

Lohan ended her confession-like tweets by saying she is "...a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith and I am hopeful..."

Russell Brand Arrested at LAX:

In other news, British actor-comedienne Russell Brand was arrested at LAX for allegedly assaulting paparazzi.

TMZ reports Brand and Perry were in the process of going through Delta security when Brand allegedly began to push and punch a paparazzo. The photographer made a citizen's arrest. Brand was held by LAX police and then taken to jail where he was booked for a misdemeanor charge of simple battery.

Brand is currently free on $20,000 bail and is due to appear in an Los Angeles courtroom on October 15.

Brand's girlfriend, Katy Perry, tweeted in her man's defense, saying, "If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiance' will do his job & protect me."

Katy's hashtag? "Don'tf***withtheBrands."

Does this mean the photographer tried to "upskirt" Katy Perry? If this is the case, Russell Brand, at the very least, was justified in his actions in the eyes of fans.

Although California has a law to protect people from "upskirting", it's a bit tricky and provides offenders, or video voyeurs, with a couple of loopholes. For example, it would have to be proven the photographer did it for sexual gratification or arousal, and any secret taping used for entertainment or commercial website use is excluded.

That's what she said the last time. While I do like her work, I think she should focus on cleaning up first.
