Lindsay Lohan's Lawyers Pushing to Have Her Out of Rehab After 30 Days

Doctors from UCLA currently overseeing Lindsay Lohan's drug and alcohol rehabilitation have made a recommendation to Judge Elden Fox that the troubled actress spend no more than 30 days at the treatment center. RadarOnline.com reports the sessions with Lohan are going better then expected.

Lindsay Lohan was originally court ordered by the previous Judge on her case to complete 90 days in an inpatient rehab facility immediately after being released from jail earlier this month. She served 13 days of a 90 day sentence due to overcrowding.

The recommendation from her councilors at the UCLA rehab center discussed Lohan's progress during the 17 days she has already been in rehab, and discussing what steps they plan to take in the future to prevent a relapse. The meeting was held behind closed doors between Lindsay's lawyer Shawn Chapman-Holley and District Attorney Danette Meyers.

The Judge planned another hearing for August 25th to discuss whether Lindsay should be released early or not.

Lindsay's stay in prison and rehab stemmed from her arrest in 2007 for suspicion of drunk driving and cocaine possession. The arrest followed another stop in May 2007 for DUI.

In related Lindsay Lohan news her mother Dina Lohan continues her battle to try and get Lindsay released from the rehab facility she is currently staying in immediately. Dina Lohan has maintained throughout the entire court proceedings that Lindsay doesn't have a problem with drugs and alcohol.

Several insiders close to the Lohan family have told media sources such as TMZ and People Magazine that Dina Lohan is out of touch with reality when it comes to Lindsay Lohan's problems. They have also accused Dina of deliberately enabling her daughter to further her own Hollywood lifestyle at her daughters expense.

Lindsay's father Michael Lohan has suggested the troubled star distance herself from her mother and attempt to clean up her life herself, without anyone telling her how to live her life.
