The wait has come to an end. The Italian car manufacturer Fiat finally rolled out its mid-sized sedan Fiat Linea to the Indian car industry. Linea will be available in both fire petrol and multijet diesel variants. The diesel variant is powered by the 1.2 litre engine where as the petrol version is available in 1.3 litre engine.
According to Rajeev Kapoor, CEO Fiat India, 'The company is confident that Linea will impress its customers with its petrol and diesel versions as well as the several options that come under each of them'.
Linea carries a strong history of success globally and the company hopes the same in India too. Linea created with Italian style matches perfectly with the Indian taste and condition. The car will be produced from the its Ranjangaon plant near Pune.
The launch of Linea will be be soon followed by being Bravo and Grande Punto in India.
