There are a lot of different styles of lingerie on the market for both ladies and gentlemen. All of these different styles can sometimes get confusing as to what one can and should wear and when. These can be narrowed down by what effect you are trying to have on your partner or just on yourself even. Lingerie does not have to be worn to make an impression on anyone. Lingerie can be worn just for you to see to allow you to just feel down right sexy in your own eyes. Here is a look at the different styles of lingerie and when they can be worn.

The chemise can be worn under a dress or skirt suit. Some can even be worn under a pants suit. These can be sexy to show off to your partner as you undress in front of him. But they do not require an audience. This can be worn under clothes at anytime to just make you feel sexy. Chemises come in a wide variety of styles and fabrics. So choose what feels good against your skin and makes you feel sexy.

Corsets with matching underwear can make a woman look very sexy for her man. But just like the chemise they can be worn for just your own pleasure alone. Corsets were used in the old days to give a woman a perfected shape. The modern day corset does not give the same definitions that it's predecessor did but can still give a woman a slimmer waist area.

Bustiers can be worn under clothing or just under a jacket for a sexy outwear look. I would not recommend wearing one as outerwear with out some kind of jacket though. But if you are not daring enough to wear as outerwear, bustiers still make for sexy lingerie to be shown to your partner. These can also be done for your own pleasure alone.

The baby dolls are a sexy little two piece number that is recommended to be shared with your partner. Some women can probably sleep in one with or with a partner with them. But the baby doll was designed for showing off and turning men on.

You also have the thong , g-string and T-bar. These are all forms of underwear but they do differ in their design. The thong is wider in the back than a g-string. The g-string is just that a string going up the back. The T-bar is wider than the thong. The T-bar represents a T going up the back. What all three of these have in common though is they all three go up the crack of your butt. These can be worn because they are what your are comfortable wear when it comes to underwear or they can be worn for looking sexy for your man.

Boxer short can come in all types of designs and fabric. They can be used as underwear, pajamas or as lounge pants. Silk boxers with a silk robe left open can be a way for men to look sexy for their lady. A man just has to find his style and fabric that he likes to feel against his skin. They are also a safer alternative to the briefs.

Bikini briefs are the male version of the female bikini cut panties. Not to much to be said on these. As with boxer shorts they come in a variety of styles and fabrics. They can be worn to look sexy for a lady or just cause they are what a man is comfortable wearing.

A man also has the pouch which can come as just a pouch with a g-string back or with a cute and funny little front to it. Some varieties of the pouch are the elephant head which allows for the man's penis to be in the elephants trunk. There is also the devils face with horns that a man can buy. Those are just two examples of the styles you can get with the pouch. The pouch is a very creative form of lingerie. Would only recommend these to people who like a little sense of humor in the bedroom.

When it comes to lingerie though you must look at where you will be wearing it. Most can be worn under your clothes to just make you feel sexy underneath it all. All can be worn though to spice things up in the bedroom. Just find the style you are comfortable with and in a fabric that feels good to you.
