Lipozene Fat Burner Review

Summer Banks
Lipozene fat burner claims 78% of all weight loss is fat. With such a huge claim, do the ingredients and clinical trials mentioned on the website truly support fat loss and weight loss while taking the Lipozene fat burning supplement?

Ingredients in Lipozene: Glucomannan

Glucomannan is a water-soluble fiber commonly used to thicken foods. Nutritional supplements that may include glucomannan as a main ingredient include laxatives, weight loss supplements, diabetic alternative supplements and cholesterol fighting formulas. Lipozene includes no other ingredients so the claim of losing more fat depends highly on how glucomannan works in the body.

Glucomannan absorbs water and grows in the stomach. This growth is supposed to cause a feeling of fullness that prevents a dieter from overeating. A reduction in calories may result, but that does not mean fat is targeted by the Lipozene fat burner supplement.

According to clinical data published on PubMed.gov, intake of two to four grams of glucomannan taken in divided doses before meals may have a significant effect on weight loss. Participants in a study performed at Rush University College of Nursing by J Keithley and B Swanson suggests up to 5.5 pounds of weight loss over an eight week period. There were only 20 participants in the study, which could discredit the findings in a larger population.

Is there Enough Glucomannan in Lipozene? According to the clinical trial, dieters who lost weight took between 2000 and 4000 mg a day. Lipozene contains 1500 mg of glucomannan per dose with suggested doses two capsules, three times a day. This would supply more than the tested amount of glucomannan to achieve weight loss.

Is Lipozene an Affordable Option? At the highest suggested dose, one bottle of Lipozene would last a dieter 10 days. Lipozene fat burner can be purchased for about $15 per bottle. At that price, one month's supply of Lipozene would cost $45. That averages out to $4.50 per day. Glucomannan can be purchased as a standalone fiber supplement for $5.00 per 90 capsule bottle of 700 mg each. That averages out to 33 cents per day for 4200 mg, just 300 mg shy of the Lipozene but still within tested amounts.

Is Lipozene Fat Burner Worth the Money? Lipozene may include a proven ingredient but the manufacturer charges more than 10 times the average price for that ingredient. Lipozene fat burner is not an affordable choice but it is a proven weight loss ingredient in an overpriced bottle.
