I picked up an L.A. Colors Moisture Lipstick in one of the local drugstores for $1.99, which was around half the normal price. The main reason was that I fell in love with the color. It is C245 Satin, and is a really pretty shade of pink. I could see the top of it through the plastic casing, and it almost looked like pink glass, as it shone so much.
The lipstick has a black bottom, a silver middle where the lipstick is, and then the clear plastic top. The top of the lipstick is angled above the outer casing, and the first time I used it I was worried that I wouldn't get the plastic top over it, and then ruin the lipstick. This didn't happen, but you do need to be careful with it.
This lipstick has an amazing smell to it. I had it on my desk, and I could smell fruit. I put the lipstick up to my nose, and the fruity smell was coming from it. I couldn't wait to try it, so applied it to my top lip. It didn't go on easily. It felt dry on my lips, and hardly showed up. I continued to apply more, and finally got through the initial layer of lipstick. I then put it on my lower lip too.
I am surprised that L.A. Colors named this a 'moisture' lipstick as the moisture didn't surface on my first use. It took me three separate applications before the lipstick felt soft, and pliable. Once this happened I was pleased with the lipstick. The color is pastel, and I love it. It keeps my lips moist, and hydrated, until I eat or drink something, and then I need to put more on.
What L.A. Colors say about their lipstick:
"Moisturize your lips with Color. The unique contour tip perfects lip shape with a more precise application. These lipsticks are enriched with Vitamin E & Aloe Vera.
For the price I paid I am happy with the L.A. Colors Moisture Lipstick. You can't give up on the first attempt.

Post a CommentI totally agree with you.
great review!!
This is a very well written review. Lipstick, well, I've never found one that last more than an hourl! I don't care WHAT everyone else says. Nothing lasts all day.
I like anything with aloe vera in it. I'll look for these.
Great review! I'll have to try it now.
Maybe not a perfect lipstick, but workable and a great color. You can't beat that for two bucks! rcj
