I shop at Kroger's from time to time, and I have been pleased with many of the FMV products I have tried. I agree that the FMV line of products is a maximum value, as the name For Maximum Value suggests. The products are equal to many national brands, but the packaging is simple with no frills. For less than one dollar you can purchase a large bottle of Lemon scented dish liquid that works much better than several of the more expensive brands. I prefer the dish liquid to provide bubbles, and this is the only sense that FMV liquid dish detergent lacks, but a I said it does perform better than several of the more expensive competitors. For Maximum Value by Kroger is affordable and a good buy.
I tried Simplicity liquid dish soap, because it was new on my stores shelves, and I was interested in the green apple fragrance. Simplicity claims to be non toxic, is certified biodegradable and is derived from plants. I paid four dollars for a twenty fluid ounce bottle of Simplicity green apple liquid dish soap, which is expensive, but it is more environmentally friendly. It is also a really ineffective liquid dish detergent, that produces very few bubbles, and despite being ultra concentrated, it requires a large amount of the product to clean the dishes. I found Simplicity to simply be an inferior dish detergent, and extremely ineffective. I will not ever purchase Simplicity again, and I would not recommend Simplicity to anyone. It is simply a terrible liquid dish detergent.
Finally I have also used Dawn Simple Pleasures liquid dish detergent. I was lucky enough to find this product at my local Big Lots at a bargain price of one dollar per bottle. I loved the fragrance of apples, and the performance of Dawn Simple Pleasures, as well as the effective built in air freshener that is located at the bottom of the bottle. Dawn Simple Pleasures is an effective liquid dish detergent that is affordable and a multi tasking product. I would recommend Dawn Simple Pleasure liquid dish soap to anyone who likes Dawn, and a refreshing fragrance while washing dishes.
I hope this multiple product review helps you to make an informed decision while shopping for a quality and affordable liquid dish detergent.
