Lisa Bonet's Mouthful of a Baby Name, 'Ugly Betty' Pregnancy and Surprises at the Critic's Choice Awards

Babies are cropping up everywhere in Hollywood! Earlier this week, Jennifer Garner gave birth to another daughter and Rebecca Romijn gave birth to twin girls. Actress Lisa Bonet has people puzzling over the name she gave her son and an Ugly Betty star just announced her pregnancy. Finally, the Critics Choice Awards had a few surprises. Could they be hints for future awards in Oscar season?

Lisa Bonet's Mouthful of a Name

The former Denise Huxtable gave birth to her third child on December 15^th. The baby is Bonet's second child with her boyfriend, actor Jason Momoa. New York Daily News calls the name "the most bizarre celebrity name yet," beating even Ashley Simpson's Bronx Mowgli moniker. The baby's name is Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa.

Though not a name you hear every day, the name is rife with significance and heritage. Momoa's mother explained the name's significance on a post in her son's official forum.

"He was born on the stormiest rainy night. so Nakoa(warrior)...Mana(strength/spirit) Kaua(rain) po(dark)..."

The second middle name, Namakaeha, is Jason's as well and means "all knowing eyes." The names are a tribute to Jason's Hawaiian heritage.

Personally, I'd pick Nakoa-Wolf over Bronx Mowgli, but that's just me.

An Ugly Betty Pregnancy Plot Line Coming Soon?

E! Online reported that Ugly Betty's Ana Ortiz is expecting a baby with husband Noah Lebenzon. No word whether the pregnancy will be worked into the storyline of Hilda Suarez.

Babies aren't an unusual sight on the set of Ugly Betty anymore. Rebecca Romijn recently gave birth to twins with husband Jerry O'Connell and within the storyline, Ashley Jensen's Christina is having Wilhelmina's baby. We'll see what happens in future episodes!

Heath Ledger, Anne Hathaway and Kate Winslet Get Their Dues

More often than not the Critic's Choice Awards gives people a good idea of who will win Oscars. If that's the case, Brad Pitt and Angelina will be snubbed, The Dark Knight will win big, as will Slumdog Millionaire.

At the Critic's Choice Awards, Slumdog Millionaire picked up Best Picture, Best Director, Best Young Actor and Best Writer. Sean Penn beat out Brad Pitt and surprisingly, Clint Eastwood, for Best Actor. Kate Winslet picked up Best Supporting Actress, which hopefully will pave her way for an Oscar.

Everyone was grateful to see Heath Ledger rightfully win Best Supporting Actor. Dark Knight director, Chris Nolan, picked up the award for the late actor, stating that Ledger was "a joy to work with" and that his "contribution to cinema should be greatly appreciated."

Anne Hathaway had the surprise of her life when she not only won, but tied with idol Meryl Streep, for Best Actress. Then she passed on the love by choking up audiences during her acceptance speech, thanking her critics and peers, but also, her father.

"He protects me and has shown me that there are good men in this world and lets me know everyday that I am worthy of the love of good people."
