Lisa Miceli + Michael Jordan = Child & Mess

Lisa Miceli, met Michael Jordan at a charitable golf event in 1999; a relationship formed and Lisa had a baby. Lisa Miceli claims that Michael Jordan is the father of her child because there are no other choices. Around the beginning of 2005, two court ordered paternity tests were made, both indicating that Michael Jordan was not the baby's father.

According to an article by Tim Hahn of Erie Times News called: 'Jordan sues to stop Meadville woman's e-mails, calls' the paternity tests were done by two different testing firms who both ruled out the possibility of Michael Jordan being the father of the Lisa Miceli child. This is two paternity tests claiming that Jordan is not the father.

Lisa Miceli is upset; for years she has been accused and painted by the media as some sort of kook who is stalking Jordan with many phone calls, voice mails, and email communications with Jordan and his representatives since 2005. It is claimed that some of these communications used threatening or bad language.

According to the Hahn article, 60 days ago Lisa Miceli was ordered not to have any further contact with Michael Jordan. I can not find mention of any prior order not to contact Jordan; in 2005 Lisa voluntarily agreed with Jordan attorney's that she would not contact Jordan again if he took the second paternity test.

In my opinion, I see one court order telling Lisa Miceli not to contact Jordan, and one verbal or written contract made by Lisa Miceli not to contact Jordan. There is no way to tell if the verbal or written contract is valid or not. Lisa Miceli probably made that contract under the threat that without it Jordan would not take the paternity test.

Jordan has filed a lawsuit to force Lisa Miceli from never contacting him again for any reason, and appears to be basing it upon her communications between 2005 and the order that happened 60 days ago.

Lisa Miceli went into court without an attorney, and filed a return lawsuit explaining that Jordan is her son's father and that she has to continue contact with him because she has his son. Lisa Miceli has also asked for a third paternity test to be given.

In my non-attorney mind, I see something wrong with this picture. What if Lisa Miceli is trying to tell us the truth about her son being Michael Jordan's child?

Lisa Miceli is sticking to her original story about Jordan being the only father choice possible for her child, and she is still upset about nobody believing her story years after it was first told. Why are Jordan's attorney's trying to paint this woman as a kook to the media if they do not have any concerns of their own that Lisa's child is Jordan's?

Paternity tests can have wrong results; even two in a row from different testing facilities. DNA tests can be wrong over human error, sunlight, or DNA mutations among other things. If you go to the web page called 'Understanding Genetics' it explains that DNA double-mutations happen in about 400 US babies per year. Single mutations happen in more. Are the people testing Michael Jordan doing the right tests? Or, are they doing the common DNA tests?

I suspect that both DNA labs started with the common DNA test and not the more advanced one because nobody believes Lisa Miceli's story that Michael Jordan is the only father choice for her baby.

In my opinion, nobody is going to ask for a third paternity test from a court, and walk into court alone in the face of a hostile media environment to get it, if they didn't know that Michael Jordan really is the father. Lisa Miceli has nothing to gain by exposing herself and her son to this media show; unless she is certain that he is the father.

I am not going to condemn Lisa Miceli for bad language or supposed threats in her communications with Jordan from the year 2005 to date; she's obviously frustrated over having a child that she claims to know who fathered. Every female who has ever had to go fight for a late child support check probably feels like cussing. Frustrated people cuss.

My prediction on the outcome of this latest court battle is that Lisa Miceli will lose and be told not to bother Michael Jordan again. My belief is based in the fact that Lisa Miceli would need an expensive attorney to hire an expensive DNA expert to explain how DNA mutates before any new test could have different results.

I feel sorry for Lisa Miceli today. She might be telling the truth.
