About the Belly Dance Certification: The A-Z belly dance correspondence courses include DVDs, CDs and workbooks. There are four different courses available, two personal technique courses and two teacher training courses. Before purchasing either of the belly dance teacher training courses, students must complete one of the personal techniques courses, choosing either the "original" or the "advanced stage techniques" track.
Price: Each course is $260 USD, plus additional assessment fees, $20-50 USD per section.

About the Belly Dance Certification: Belly Dance College offers several belly dance teacher training programs, including the aerobics-based "Belly-Dancercise." Training materials include a hip scarf, veil, DVDs, music CDs, lesson plans and marketing materials.

This belly dance certification focuses on teaching beginner belly dance, and covers topics such as terminology, technique breakdown, cultural understanding and marketing.

The Belly Dance Trainer

About the Belly Dance Certification: Taaj, the Belly Dance Trainer, has created an online belly dance certification program in nine parts, covering a range of topics, including body mechanics, music theory, teaching methods and choreography. This belly dance teacher training assumes that you have mastered the dance, and focuses on teaching technique rather than dance technique. Taaj only accepts a limited number of students at a time, and recertification is required every two years.
Price: Each of the nine chapters costs $39 USD each, with additional assessment fees.

About the Belly Dance Certification: To become certified to teach belly dance under Veda Sereem, students must complete all five levels, using Veda Sereem's DVDs.
