Lee Andrew Henderson
Microsoft has come right out and admitted that in 2011 their main focus will be on the Kinect. This news may anger some of the more hardcore fans but obviously the Kinect users are thrilled to see a full slate of Kinect games coming out in 2011. These are the titles that have been announced for the Kinect in 2011.

Dance on Broadway
Release Date: January 14th, 2011
Dance on Broadway is a singing and dancing video game but instead of performing your favorite pop hits the user will be able to play out some of their favorite Broadway hits

ShowTime
Release Date: January 31st, 2011
ShowTime is listed as another music and dance game but not much else is known about the title yet.

You Don't Know Jack
Release Date: February 8th, 2011
You Don't Know Jack is a popular series of video games from Sierra. In the game users play a trivia game show while the host, Jack, harasses the gamers for giving incorrect answers. It is unknown how body movements will play a part in this game. Perhaps users will have to hit a buzzer to answer?

Fantastic Pets

Not much has been released about Fantastic Pets but it will be a game that will allow users to interact with virtual animals in some way.

Child of Eden
Release Date: March 29th, 2011
If you own a Kinect and you're not interested in dancing games (and why would you have a Kinect if you aren't interested in dancing games?) then Children of Eden is one of the few choices of games in 2011. Children of Eden is a shooter that will be available on the Xbox 360 and PS3 but will also be designed to be available on the Kinect. Microsoft is even saying that Children of Eden will be better on the Kinect than the other systems.

Brunswick Pro Bowling
Release Date: March 31st, 2011
Brunswick Pro Bowling is a bowling game that will allow players to join leagues. Not much else is known about the features in the game but there better be more than that. Bowling is using one mini-game in a game full of sports games. Selling a bowling game on its own better have a lot of functions.

Mel B Dance
Release Date: Q1 or Q2 2011
Former Spice Girls dancer will be back again in 2011. This time she wants to dance with you.

Forza Motorsport 4
Release Date: Fall 2011
Forza Motorsport 4 is another one of the few non-dance/sing/fitness games to look forward to. Unfortunately I'm not sure how fun a racing game is going to be on the Kinect. Is moving a control left or right like steering wheel that much better than a regular racing game?

Codename D
Release Date: 2011
Many are calling Codename D a "Kinect game that is actually worth being excited about". Codename D is an action game that will place gamers inside an evil amusement park and they must survive. Codename D is being developed by Goichi Suida, who has a good track record with games like Killer 7 and No More Heroes.

Kinect Haunt
Release Date: 2011
Haunt is a game from the creators of Parappa the Rappa. Haunt will be a "horror" game that takes place in a haunted mansion. Instead of being a first person shooter it is being called first person flashlighting because there will be more searching with a flashlight than shooting enemies.

Project Draco could be an interesting take on the Kinect if developed well. Project Draco will allow the user to control a dragon as it fights against other dragon.

Rise of Nightmares

Nickelodeon will be bringing their most beloved cartoon character to the Kincet in 2011. There are no details about how the Kinect will be used but seeing as how this will be a game directed towards kids (who don't have a great attention span) I'm guessing this will be a game with a lot of mini-games.

Star Wars Kinect
Release Date: 2011
The Star Wars Kinect game might be the most important release in 2011. How good Star Wars looks and subsequently how good the game is will go a long way in determining whether the hardcore gamers that have stuck their nose up at the Kinect will be convinced it is worth giving a shot.

Steel Battalion Heavy Armor
Release Date: 2011
Steel Battaliaon is a video game series where users control a mecha called a Vertical Tank. Steel Battalion is best known for being a game that required buying a controller specifically for that game.
