PROS
The strips take only on average, approximately 5-10 minutes to dissolve. This of course varies by individual. I found that they generally took the full 10 minutes to dissolve on my teeth. They are designed to dissolve evenly and from my experience they did just that.
You will begin to see results in just a week. I noticed that my teeth were whiter after only wearing the strips for a week.
The strips are clear and you no one can tell that you are wearing them. This is a huge advantage over other strips. You don't have a messy film to peel off afterwords, you don't have to brush your teeth at the end of a half hour to an hour wait, and most importantly there are no trays to mess with.
The strips leave your breathe feeling fresh. You put the minty fresh strips on and they instantly start to tingle. You can feel them working, and they leave your breathe fresher then before.
The ingredients are safe to swallow. According to Listerine's website, "After the strips dissolve, the hydrogen peroxide is broken down into oxygen and water, and the remaining ingredients are washed away by normal salivary flow. The ingredients are safe to swallow! "
CONS
I have sensitive teeth and have had problems in the past with other whiteners. Listerine does note that, " Temporary gum discomfort or tooth sensitivity may occur when using whitening products. If significant discomfort or sensitivity develops, try reducing application to once per day and extend the total number of days of your whitening. If the problem persists, discontinue use and consult your dentist. " Great advice, but ouch a little to late for me. I wore the strips once per day for a week and the last day I could not eat or drink anything. Hot and cold really effected my teeth. I was force to use a straw, and obviously discontinue the use of this product.
The whitening agent is only on one side of the strip. If you get too excited and do not read the instructions first you may place the strip on the wrong side, thus not effectively whitening your teeth.
The strips are a little difficult to put on your teeth. I put the top strip on first, apparently that causes the mouth to produce excess saliva making the bottom strip harder to get one.
In conclusion I think it is a great product, but I strongly caution anyone who has sensitive teeth. I was not able to use it long enough to see a significant difference in the whiteness of my teeth, but when it comes to ease of use, I would say these strips get an A+.

Post a Commenta tip for sensitive teeth: I also have experienced sensitivity while using this product. My solution: toothpaste for sensitive teeth!! It illiminates the discomfort of these highly effective whitening strips.
EASY to put on, seriously. Only problem is disgusting taste eww, cannot swallow it lol...........but that's just me. i brush my teeth after haha
They are impossible to put on - particularly your lower teeth.
I probably messed up about 8 of them and once you do you are screwed.
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a more reliable product.
I smoke and drink coffee and red wine. I also have one dead tooth which is 40 years old and was supposed to have it bleached every five years, I have not done it yet because it's never been that bad.
I've been using the Listerine Whitening Quick Dissolving Strips for four days now and see such a difference. I'm amazed. I have to keep looking in the mirror because that's how good they're looking. I only use them once a day and that's at bed time. LOVE THEM.
I don't think they worked.
So far so good. They are difficult to get out of the package without tearing. This can be frustrating. I've been using for about 5 days, I have noticed a slight difference. (I am bad about remembering to use twice daily - so most of these days I have only used once per day.) They don't taste the best, but do dissolve after about 10 minutes and they do leave your breath fresh. Biggest complaint so far is the packaging.
I purchased a box last month from local Wal-Mart for about $19.95. Maybe they were on sell. I stared out using them twice a day but had to go down to once a day because of gum irritation (my gums are normally healthy). Well I used my last strip today. I honestly see no difference whats ever in Whiteness. I last whitened my teeth about two years ago with Crest White Strips and literally had friends and family asking if I'd had my teeth professionally whitened. Not to knock Listerine, because I do really like their Whitening Pre-Rinse and will continue to purchase that particular product, because it does really make your mouth feel clean and your breath feel fresh for hours afterward. And it's also true that the strips will stick to your lip if you're not careful, which renders them usless. Not only are the individual packets sometimes hard to open , at least two of the packets I opened has strips that were ripped or not complete strips. Will go back to Crest White Strips next time.
I'll admit I'm a klutz, but I usually have to tear it from one side of the top and then the other, because it only tears half way. Then I have to open up the sides and squint at each half of the foil packet to see the outline of the strip. It's usually ok after that. Warning: Do not store them in a bathroom that gets steamy. The strips will melt on your fingers if you can even get them off the foil. I'll see how I feel about them after I've gone thru the whole package. I do like being able to put them on and then leave.
I think these strips are great. I saw results within 2 weeks. Also they were easy to put in, I think the only trouble I had was the first time I ever used them because I didn't know what i was doing. But thats about it.
One thing I would reccomend for people with sensitive teeth is using sensidyne right before droppin a couple of those strips in. I have always had very sensitive teeth but I haven't noticed them get any more sensitive since I started using the quick dissolving white strips almost a week ago. (Granted I only use them once a day, I'm too lazy to do it before I go to bed) I started using sensidyne almost a month before I started whitening.
P.S. for you idiots who can't figure out how to put them in, try doing the bottom first.
