Little Fluffy Tails

Harriet Steinberg
I throw the crumbs out
To the squirrels
It's fun to watch them
When they twirl

They gobble their food
So very fast
The crumbs were there
But they didn't last

I throw out more
They scamper again
Little claws clinging
To the crumbs for them

Come back again
Little fluffy tails
For you I adore
It never fails

Very nice. I want to know how come when I put out squirrel food, they always eat all the corn bits first?

So sweet! Love to watch the squirells! Unfortunately so do our cats! I felt bad for them this winter when their buried walnuts were under 5 -8 feet of snow!

Not a fan of squirrels so much, they can do such damage if they get in the attic!

Aww... I love squirrels. Too bad I don't see many here. On the other side of the state we had black squirrels. They're not very common, but in northeast IN they are jet black.
