Little Fockers is a Funny Movie

Warning: Spoiler Alert!

Diane Zoller-Ciatto
"Nurse" Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) is once again the subject of ridicule from his father-in- law, Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro). A certain happenstance makes him the heir to the Byrne dynasty when Doctor Bob cheats on Pam's sister making Greg the person who Jack reluctantly wants to take over the family once he is gone. He actually asks him if he wants to be the "Godfocker?"

The reason Jack feels this way is because he had a heart attack and shocked himself back to life before the paramedics could get there and made Greg swear that he would not tell his family about the heart attack. Jack spied on Greg quite a bit and saw things that he blew out of proportion.

The Little Fockers are twin Fockers; a boy and a girl. The girl is much bigger than the boy and she spies on Greg for her grandfather Jack.

Returning in the role of Pam's ex-boyfriend is Owen Wilson who is rich beyond belief, but really longs for Pam and even shows up with a tattoo of her on his back.

The story revolves around a drug rep named Andi Garcia, played by Jessica Alba who teams up with Greg to sponsor an erectile dysfunctional drug. Greg needs the extra money to send his twins to a swanky and ultra expensive school so he can live up to his father-in-law's expectations. Andi is a super horny woman who plots to win Greg's heart with no avail. She literally throws herself at him, takes her clothes off and naturally this is spotted by Jack.

This predictable comedy is good for some belly laughs, especially when Greg backs up a dump truck that is in his driveway and as Jack yells for him to hit the emergency brake, he pulls the lever that dumps a truckload of sand on Jack. There is another scene where Jack finds the ED pills and takes one with interesting results that only a person of medicine; namely Greg can fix.

I so want to see this movie. I just love the series. We all need a laugh now and again - especially when things go wrong like the terrible floods in Australia.

What a charming review. I hardly get to watch movies lately (always doing something else), but I really felt as if I walked into the story for a short time.

The ads are certainly funny. The title of these movies always puts me off, however.
