Little Paris Jackson Captured the Hearts of the World

Mary E. Coe
When, little 11 years old, Paris Jackson took that mike, at her father's memorial services, she stole the hearts of the world. The whole world cried with her. Everyone must have felt her pain. It was so heartfelt and touching when she poured out her heart to the world.

She was so sincere about how much she loved her dad and what he meant to her. Little Paris said her dad was the best father that she could ever imagine and she loved him so much. She wept bitterly as she spoke those words and the whole world wept with her. We all felt her agony.

I thought the announcer said that Janet Jackson wanted to say something, then, Janet put Paris in front of the mike. Little Paris must have asked to say something; because she moved forward when Janet's name was announced. I believe the announcer made an error and said Janet instead of Paris.

My heart had already gone out to her, while Michael Jackson's brother was giving his emotional tribute to Michael, I was watching Paris, as she nervously played with her little black purse. Then she took the mike and gave that teary, powerful, and beautiful tribute to her dad; it was a heart breaker. It was deep. I felt so much pain.

This was a child that was so protected from the world and she got before billions of people and gave a teary and beautiful tribute to her father and it was straight from the heart. At that moment, all I could see or hear was a little girl in so much pain; a little girl, who will grow up without the father that was so loved by her.

I'm sure she is surrounded by relatives and friends that love her. But, it won't replace her loss. Time will heal her pain. There will come the time when she will remember her dad without the hard pain, but, for now she and her two little brothers are suffering a great loss.

Please, send out prayers for Paris Jackson and her brothers. I pray that God ease their pain. It is so hard for children to lose a parent, especially the only parent that they knew.

I noticed how much like Michael his younger son looks. Losing a parent at 11 is sad and much harder for Paris due to Jackson's fame.
