Little People Toy Review: Stack 'N Crash Work Site

This Little People Set is Small and Cute

As my son's second birthday approached the questions about what he liked, what he wanted and what he needed poured in by friends and relatives. Now I have to admit that I didn't pass this on to every single person but one thing that I knew I mentioned to my sister was that he already had a lot of Fisher Price Little People sets. The Little People sets were something that he played with often but they were also something that I planned on replacing over the years with more natural materials since everything is made out of plastic. However I must have not passed this information on to my brother because he got my son yet another Little People set. I was not upset or anything but I think that it was funny that despite some effort on my part my son still received a Little People set. The one that he had gotten from his uncle, aunt and cousin was the Stack 'N Crash Work Site.

The theme of this Little People set was simple. There was one figure, a boy wearing a hard hat with a pencil tucked in his ear, blueprints in one hand and a walkie talkie in the other. The props in the set included three blocks and two fences that hook together and to the main portion of the set. The three blocks were a purple triangle, green box and orange square. One of the fences has a little table for the construction worker to sit at with a sticker on it that looked like a ruler, pencil and a piece of paper with a drawing of the three blocks stacked on top of one another, except the colors were different. The main piece in the set is a platform with a brick wall with a TNT box on the top of it and a place to stack the blocks beside the wall. When the blocks are on the platform and you push down on the TNT box the blocks fall over. Lastly the set contained a ball wrecking vehicle that makes sounds. It has a seat for the construction worker and makes a running engine sound and a beep, beep sound.

Overall the set is on the smaller side similar to the Little People Pet Pal Gift Set and Little People Musical Christmas Train so it wasn't hard finding room for it among the other Little People sets that my son had. In addition to the pet shop and train my son also had the Sound Stable, Animal Sounds Farm and Shop 'N Learn Market by Little People as well. My son enjoys playing with this set just as he does with playing with his other sets. I think that it was a very good birthday gift and in a few years when we donate or sell it I think that someone will have a whole lot of fun with it. Until then I think that my son will have a blast playing with it.
