Live in Balance

What we sow is what we reap. If we sow joy and peace and harmony, more will come our way. If we think about discontent and lack, that is what we will get. We need to think positively, and yet live in balance with nature. The splendor of God. He sends us reminders of his love. We are rich with the beauty of this world.

If you live in balance with nature, and don't eat emotionally or shop obsessively, you will find a joy in life unlike any other. You will be empowered to change and not obsess over this world. God said we are like birds in the field, yet we are precious. We are like grass in the field, finite and yet we make the world beautiful.

Life isn't about driving expensive cars, or having the latest thrill. Life is about being authentic, real, knowing that you are your true self. You can't find your true self in things, in the latest fashion or gadget, All that wanting adds to discontent. If you develop your inner life, you will find treasures inside that are like diamonds held deep within a mine. You will find joy, and peace and happiness just waiting to come out of the depths of the earth to be cut and polished and set in gold.

All you need to know is that you are more precious than Gold. You have the power to change, you can become the person you always wanted to be. You just need to believe. Your diamonds don't come from a mine. They come from within. Your mind holds more secrets, more treasure, than all the mines in Africa. Yet you have to be still and have peace to access the inner body. The peace and wisdom within. Your body is a work of art, of raw genius. It is naturally perfect. It can heal itself. It can be well. But when you worry and fret and want things to be different, you grow weak.

What is, is. What you do with it matters. You were born, you live, you die. What happens in that brief time can make you happy or discontent. If you develop your spiritual life, you become free from guilt and shame and live in harmony with God. You live like a bird in the field. You fly. You eat, you find a mate. You protect your territory through song. You just be. Everything you know is already within you.

You know when you are hungry. You know when you need to shower. You know when you need to speak up. Life isn't about struggle against what is. It is simple to be anti sleaziness. To have a war on vice. But what you fight grows stronger. You need to be the answer. To show another way.

They say the oldest profession was prostitution. So to get rid of it seems impossible. But we can rise above the past. We can turn from sin and not dwell in the negative. We can bring joy and beauty to this world that has never been seen before. That is the true calling of an artist. And we are each an artist. God was an artist, he made heartbreaking beauty. And I am humbled by his splendor.

We can learn from our mistakes and draw close to God, or we can shut him out and live in sin. We can yearn for something more and always be discontent. Or we can be free from the ego's desire for more. We are to be humble in God's greatness. Satan was God's most beautiful angel and then he grew discontent and wanted to be God. We are to be grateful for God's gifts and be humbled by his bounty.

It used to bother me that I was given so much. People said I was spoiled. But I have known pain and heart ache just like anyone else. I have realized that it doesn't matter that I have had so much given to me. I can be humble too. I know that it can all go away. But right now God is blessing me with gifts of grace and beauty.
