Live Battle for Votes in Brazil

Brazilians Get Ready for Second Round

Carlos Rix
Dilma Rousseff x José Serra

The first debate took place last night, candidates to the highest government post in Brazil were given the opportunity to show the public what their proposal for the next 4 years is.

TV BANDEIRANTES debate was very well organized, nevertheless from the very beginning it looked more like more like a Roman arena then anything else. President Lula's candidate Dilma Rousseff was specially aggressive, but both exchanged accusations at will.

On the 31 Brazilians go back to the electronic urns and recent polls show 11% of voters are undecided. Mr. José Serra PSDB party candidate stated the end of the program that his opponent is desperate.

Mean while many are following the debates and commenting on line in real time. Here you can see my own screem on Facebook. It was very nice to get impressions on post. Candidates better pay attention, we are more than watching them. Many commented on the use of many fancy words by both canditades.
