Live a Better Life

Simple Ways to Improve Your Life

We all have problems. Money problems, work problems, school problems, relationship problems, family problems, self problems or just regular problems in general. We are always looking for ways to solve these problems and make our lives easier, albeit more enjoyable. It's not just a switch you can flip to all of a sudden feel better and get a quick fix for everything. That's just not how it works. Use some of these ideas to help you get in the swing of things and start living better.

Eat vegetables and fruits. Fruits and vegetables are excellent pick me ups for a plethora or reasons. For one their healthy and in turn you'll be more healthy for eating them and feel better about yourself and your diet for doing so.

Take a trip doing something you enjoy once in awhile. Go bike riding through the woods, go deep sea fishing, make a gourmet meal from the fruits and meats you got at a farmers market across town. Just get out and do something you really love to do. No excuses.

Take a day off. You hate work don't you? Do something about it. Don't sit there and complain about how much it sucks if you're going everyday. So what if you fall behind, it's work, it'll be there forever. A day off to spend doing things you want to do will keep you happy. Try taking a Wednesday off once in awhile, the week will fly by.

Volunteer. It's not everyone's favorite thing to do but in the long run you're helping yourself as well as you're helping others.

Sleep with a good pillow. Want to make sure that pillow is good for sleeping? Fold the pillow in half and put your shoe on it. If the shoe doesn't spring off, get a new pillow and a better nights sleep.

Exercise. We know you don't have time or you have too much work, but exercise for an hour a day doing anything. Push ups, jogging, crunches, the gym, jumping jacks, basketball, anything that keeps you moving. You'll feel more confident and less depressed.

Don't slouch. Slouching at work puts an enormous amount of stress on your lower back increasing your chances for lower back pain. Sit up straight and flex those abs once in awhile. You should also do this while driving, especially on long trips.

Kur. This European style of relaxation is all the new craze. Use a damp, cold towel and rub it over your arms, back, and torso if you wake up in the middle of the night. Your body heat will rise when you get back to your bed and you'll have an amazing nights sleep.
