Crowd Interacting to the Fullest
It's super important to interact with the crowd if you want your music and songs to be popular. Like I stated in the above section, even if your music game isn't up to par, make your fan base HUGE! In order to attract the fans of your music you must get them involved. This can mean going on into the crowd during your show to interact with them and show that although you're an artist, you're still on their level. Some people get too over confident when they're on stage, therefore; the need for them to interact with the crowd doesn't cross their mind, and they're just worried about performing for themselves. This is a typical mistake that a rookie would make or someone that is truly inexperienced. If you're not into getting off stage during your performance or the microphone cords won't reach, bring people up on stage with you. It's not hard at all to do, you can do it 1 of 2 ways. You can either ask a broad question over the microphone about who wants to get on stage or you can just simply pull people on stage that are in the front row. Most of the time if you're a male artist or male band, the first 3 rows of people will probably be women. Pull up as many people as you want on stage, however; keep in mind not to overdue it. The focus is not to take away from your stage show, it's to get more people involved and on the same page of energy you're on.
Have the Crowd Help You
If you've created a big enough buzz about your music and songs, people will know the words and sing along at your shows. This comes in very handy for those that use the crowd interaction tip as they can finish verses for you if your voice is tired or if you run out of breath. You wouldn't really understand the importance of this feature unless you were on stage by yourself trying to perform both verses and hooks without the help of a hype man. Let the crowd work as your hype man for when you need to take breaths, let them sing or rap the part of the song that you aren't. The best part about this method is that no one will ever know you're tired, they will feel special because they are now part of the show!
