Live for Today!

Today is All We Have

Diane Zoller-Ciatto
Where are those tomorrows
We lived for all so long?
When we had everything we wanted
If nothing should go wrong!

So now it is tomorrow
And the wishing has to end
We have no idea how many
The Good Lord will let us spend!

So live for today
As if it was the last
With random acts of kindness
So you won't regret your past!!

Great poem. Great advice. This sounds like it came from my Dad who had this attitude. One day, on 16 November 1968, he dropped dead from a blood clot to the brain. I remember him saying (about money) - "You can't take it with you." I'll never forget his smile and the happiness he brought to our family.

after reading the title, all I could think of was that song, "ah-la, la la la la, live for today".....

So does this mean that today won't happen if I live in yesterday? Great job with this one!
