I became a diabetic at the age of 46 . I have been been diabetic for a little over 2 yrs. Hope there will be a cure but until then, we have to watch what we eat which there's not lot of foods that can be eaten without all of the sugar contents in them but must cut down on the amount of sugar in take. I have learned altos about eating lots of greens and cauliflower and meats. Diabetes isn't fun in no way - those constant shots sometimes three times a day aren't fun in any way shape or form. I know there are days that I will have to take that shot, but there are beginning to be more, and more. Some days I have had to take two shots along with medicines. I want there to be a day even if not for the rest of my life a day where there is no shot to be taken - that's my ultimate goal , is no more shots today or any day. I hope that there will be someone, that will read this and it will inspire them.
ALL YOU CAN DO IS, AT LEAST TRY TO DO SOMETHING different other than what you already have been doing with diet , exercises. I believe THEN we can MAYBE tell this thing goodbye if even for a day. I am learning more and more about being diabetic, it's something where I am always learning something new each and everyday. Also if the doctors says it's OK, do some exercises too, BUT BEST ADVICE IS TALK WITH THE DOCTOR, CAUSE HE WILL KNOW WHAT'S BEST FOR YOU AND PRAY LOTS. Let us all do our part in helping there be a cure for this disease , cause that's what I look forward to.
