I work 8 until 5 at a job I don't hate but also don't love.
Yet money is still something I never seem to have enough of.
My paychecks go to the mortgage and doctor bills.
At least my health is OK, but only because I'm taking pills.
The house I come home to is almost always a mess.
And, even though I love my kids, they are always causing stress.
But, despite all of this, things aren't nearly as bad as they seem
Because, as long as I get to lie next to you each night, I'm still living the dream.
