Although it is not life threatening is can sometimes be debilitating, the symptoms can vary from mild to severe muscle and soft tissue pain, tenderness or weakness. It can be constant or intermittent, or can be brought on by flair ups. It can be managed with different types of medication, and simple exercise. Depression, anxiety and sleeping disorder are usually present but also can be controlled by medication.
You will experience days with extreme pain and other day can be pain free, this condition can be managed. It is recommended to stay active without over doing it, and have plenty of rest. Sleeping and medication will help control your flair ups and help you recuperate faster, it does get better with time as you will learn to manage your condition and listen to your body. This condition doesn't have to be a negative impact in your life it can be life changing but manageable. By staying positive and active you will still be able to enjoy your life as you did before.
