Real estate in Rancho Santa Fe vary in size, shape, and style. The least expensive homes in the area run in the low $1,000,000's while the most expensive and prestigious homes can cost $30,000,000 or more. The first time I visited Rancho Santa Fe I was in awe of all the different styles of homes. Styles range from Mediterranean, Tuscan, traditional and classic, to Old World and fabulous! Empty lots are also available to build the dream home of your choice.
Many celebrities and prominent people buy second homes in Rancho Santa Fe. Famous people who have a home in this area include Jewel, Bill Gates, Janet Jackson, Phil Mickelson, Marshall Goldsmith, and many more.
Rancho Santa Fe has quite a few sub-communities including "The Covenant" which was the original planned community and remains an unincorporated area of San Diego. The Covenant includes the downtown area, Rancho Cielo, Morgan Run, The Bridges, Roxbury Estates, and Fairbanks Ranch, just to name a few. Many of the sub-communities are guarded by gates, although there are many homes within The Covenant that line the main roads.
Living in Rancho Santa Fe means that you get to experience an ultimate luxurious lifestyle. Residents are very active in recreational sport such as golf, tennis, horseback riding, and hiking. On top of that that you have beautiful natural settings, gorgeous weather, upscale shopping and fine dining. Oh, and let's not forget the beach which is just minutes away! Just drive east on San Dieguito Road or Via De La Valle and you'll find the legendary beachside cities of Encinitas, Del Mar, La Jolla, and Solana Beach.
If you've ever visited Rancho Santa Fe, you can agree that it really and truly is paradise on earth. Whether you're enjoying fine cuisine at local restaurant, taking in the phenomenal views from your multi-million dollar home, or playing a game of tennis, you can't help but think, "Wow, this is the good life!"
