I dare to disagree with you Gina. I am not challenging you personally. If you do your reseach the cost of living in Sedona is very high. In some accounts experts say 50.54% higher than the national average. As far as income when accountning for those who actually WORK in Sedona the pay scale is 25% bewlow the national average. One economist on a website figured that the average income for people who actually work in Sedona (not those who own a business elsewhere and live in Sedona), is $18,000 per year. and the average cost of housing is $1200 per month. That is a disparity you cannot overlook. True, it is beautiful. No one can argue with that. However, with the low income and high cost of living here in Sedona, it is suited for the wealthy, the retired, or those who have no problem having room mates forever. Living and working in Sedona means a slim chance of ever buying a home, buying a new car, or having the ability to raise a child or for that fact being able to retire yourself. Al

Sedona does not suck. It is like everywhere else. the taxes are not that high. And like everyplace else, if you have a job you could afford to live in sedona, there are numerous restaurants to choose from. Food is affordable and organic. the air is the cleanest to breathe. everyone is peaceful and kind to each other. There is night life if you know where to find it, if not you could create it. peace.

As someone who lives in Sedona I can honestly say IT DOES SUCK!!!! Ive been here about three years and for about two and a half years constantly praying it might get better but it hasn't. It's expensive, has no real shopping, only one or two ok restraunts, and everything closes by 8:30 pm. Its nothing but a glorified tourist trap with a nice view. If you are under 65 you will be bored out of your mind. There is almost no nightlife at all and the one or two places that have any nightlife/entertainment usually have a live band. However, 90% of those out after 9:00 pm believe the only music worth listening to is classic rock ( Don't get me wrong, I like classic rock every now and then, but if I hear "Smoke On The Water" one more time... I think I'll go insane!!!). I guess I should stop now before I get carried away ( I could go on and on... That being said its worth seeing once, maybe twice, but thats it. Definitely don't move here; unless you are retired and wealthy because everything is
