The prices of food will keep increasing and those that find it unaffordable will starve. Poor people will beg their governments for food, but there will not be enough available. Many will die of hunger. This tragedy will all happen in the next few years when oil prices reach three hundred dollars a barrel. Most people in the private sector will be able to survive without much inconvenience. Some will be unaffected by higher prices. The private sector of the economy will expand and many new jobs will be created. Governments will become dysfunctional because they will not be able to support their employees. High prices will make it impossible to survive without a good job.
The world's oil shortage will be over when the penniless are no longer with us. There will be enough oil available for those fortunate people that can afford its higher costs. It will be a sad ending for the poor, but it will be impossible for them to survive without a government that gives out food stamps. The oil shortage makes me understand a bitter reality. I wish there was a Garden of Eden where abundance was plenty. Let's all pray that a new source of energy is discovered quickly.

The Garden of Eden FruitMany scholars and researchers believe it was not the common apple that Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge- The Garden of EdenThe story about the Garden of Eden is flawed on many levels. By applying logic to the writings it can be seen this was a story created to explain an event early Christians couldn't explain.

Post a CommentIts already unaffordable in many ways. And only the rich can afford to retire. The rest of us will just have to work until we die or become disabled.
This is something that definitely concerns me. I think we'll see more and more extended families living together in order to survive. I think we're going to see many more abandoned houses too. The price of oil is affecting all prices, and even those who don't have to buy gas or fuel are paying the price. I don't think we've seen the worst of it.
I agree with Carol.
We need to put a stop to the nonsense and all work together on this planet to make sure our basic survival needs are met.
