Loaded Chicken Tostadas

INGREDIENTS:
  • Tostada Shells (1 pkg serves 8-10)
  • 1 lb pre-cooked / shredded chicken
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • Refried Beans (1-16 oz can)
  • Sour Cream (1 pint)
  • Salsa (Red or Green; depending on preference)
  • Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend (2 cup pkg)
  • Black Olives (1 can - sliced)
(Optional toppings include: diced tomatoes, onions, green chiles, black beans)

PREPARATION:

  1. Combine pre-cooked / shredded chicken with taco seasoning (per packet directions) and heat in saucepan.
  2. Heat refried beans in microwave or saucepan until smooth
  3. Line tostada shells on cookie sheet and prepare to layer!
  4. Spread refried beans onto tostada shells
  5. Top beans with layer of sour cream
  6. Add shredded chicken
  7. Dribble some salsa
  8. Sprinkle with shredded cheese
  9. Finish with sliced olives and/or optional toppings, then serve

    Enjoy your colorful Mexican creation! Fork may be required!
