Loads of Love: Handmade Card

This card uses only a few products but has a lot of impact. Because it relies on chalks for the color it is a perfect project to do with kids. Chalks clean up easily, don't stain, and any mistakes can be erased.

MATERIALS

Card Stock:
Pretty In Pink card stock - 2" square
Real Red card stock - 2" square
Whisper White card stock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" - folded in half

Ink:
Versa Mark
Whisper White Craft Stampin' Pad

Stamps:
Stampin' Up - Loads Of Love

Embellishment:
Anywhere Glue Stick
Stampin' Dimensionals
Stampin' Pastels
Tag Punch
Red Organdy Ribbon
Heart shaped punch


Instructions:
1. Using Versa Mark ink stamp the pickup truck and load of hearts from Loads of Love set directly onto Whisper White card front.

2. Use foam applicators to add Stampin' Pastels color to the stamped image. The Versa Mark ink will pick up the chalk colors with a wetter more vibrant look than the not inked areas. Layering of the chalks will give you various shades in your image.

3. Using any stamp from the Terrific Tag box and the Versa Mark ink stamp onto the Real Red card stock.

4. Cut out the stamped image being sure to cut right against the image, no border on this one.

5. Using Whisper White ink stamp the Loads Of Love stamp from the Loads of Love set on the backside of the real red piece you have just cut out, center as desired.

6. Using Anywhere Glue Stick adhere the stamped image to the Pretty In Pink card stock tag.

7. String ribbon through hole at top of tag.

8. Punch 6 hearts from salvage of Pretty In Pink Card stock.

9. Apply Stampin' Pastels to the edges of the hearts to achieve desired shading.

10. Apply Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of hearts and place them on card or tag as desired.

11. Attach the completed tag to your card front with Anywhere Glue Stick.
