Dunn Tire Raceway Park - located at 57 Gunnville Rd. in Lancaster, Dunn Tire Raceway Park features both a 5/8-mile asphalt oval stock car track and an IHRA-sanctioned drag strip. Stock cars run Saturday (with the exception of the US Open, which runs Friday through Sunday, September 17th through 19th) and dragsters run Tuesdays and Fridays. The track also host the hugely popular Shredd and Ragan's Cruise Nights on Wednesdays. Drag racing starts Friday, April 30th and stock cars Saturday, May 15th.
Holland Speedway - located on Holland Glenwood Rd. in Holland, the track is a NASCAR-sanctioned short track, one of less than 100 in the country; it is a 3/8-mile asphalt oval. Action gets underway on Saturday, May 29th.
Ransomville Speedway - located on Braley Rd. in Ransomville, this 1/2-mile dirt track runs on Friday nights. The Ransomville season got underway on Friday, April 30th.
Oswego Speedway - located one block off Route 104 in Oswego, the 5/8-mile track was built in 1951. Known as the "Steel Palace," the track has a rich history in the United States Auto Club (USAC), with a number of past competitors having competed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Most races take place on Saturdays, but there are some special events on Wednesdays (August 4th - USAC) and Fridays. The season gets underway on Saturday, May 8th.
Spencer Speedway - located at 3020 State Route 104 in Williamson, Spencer also boasts both an oval track (1/2-mile asphalt) and a drag strip. Another NASCAR-sanctioned track, Spencer Speedway runs stock car events on Fridays and drag shows on Saturdays. Drags begin May 8th, while stock cars get on the track May 21st.
Little Valley Speedway - located at 501 Erie St. in Little Valley, this 1/2-mile dirt track is part of the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds. Racing takes place on Saturdays, except for the Memorial Day season opener on Sunday, May 30th.
Fulton Speedway - located at 1603 County Route 57 in Fulton, this 3/8-mile dirt track races on Saturday nights, except for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car show (Tuesday, August 3rd) and the Fulton 200 weekend (Friday and Saturday, October 1st and 2nd). The season gets underway on May 1st.
Rolling Wheels Raceway - located on Briarwood Ln. in Weedsport, NY (about a two hour drive from Buffalo), Rolling Wheels is a 5/8-mile dirt track that runs a number of special shows throughout its season, rather than a weekly show on a set night. Action gets underway on Sunday, May 2nd with the DIRTcar Challenge Cup.
Cayuga County Fair Speedway - located on the Cayuga County Fairgrounds in Weedsport, Cayuga is a 3/8-mile dirt track running weekly divisions on Sundays, with a few special shows throughout the season. The track's opening day was April 18th.
Lake Erie Speedway - located at 10700 Delmas Dr. in North East, Pennsylvania (about 90 minutes from Buffalo), Lake Erie is a 3/8-mile asphalt oval that features weekly racing shows on Saturday nights. Action for 2010 starts up on May 22nd.
Eriez Speedway - located at 9821 Sampson Rd. in Erie, Pennsylvania (about a 90 minute drive from Buffalo), Eriez Speedway is a 3/8-mile dirt track that runs a weekly schedule on Sundays, as well as a few special events throughout the season. Its season opener was scheduled for April 25th, but called due to weather.
