On July 28th, volunteers at Simi Valley Evangelical Free Church will put all of their hearts and souls into providing some Biblical knowledge for children, all while having a great time. This year's Vacation Bible School is called "Outrigger Island" and is all about knowing who God is. Through a variety of fun, tropical themed Christian music, games, crafts, and other activities, kids will learn what exactly Christianity is all about.

The Vacation Bible School event will run from 9am to 11:30am each day, Monday through Friday, July 28th through August 1st. During the two and a half hour time slot each morning, the kids will spend the majority of their time within groups separated by age. There will be Bible lesson times during which group leaders (adult members of the church) will teach basic Biblical truths through age-appropriate stories and activities. A light snack will be provided each day.

Based on the success of last year's "Gallilee by the Sea" Vacation Bible School, this year is sure to be an even greater success. This week-long event is being offered completely free of charge for children ages 2-12. Anyone is welcome to attend, so please tell a neighbor, friend, family member, or complete stranger! For more info or to register your child, call the church at 805-584-1004.

That's a nice use of AC . . . to promote an event locally, I never thought of that.
