Local Coffee Shops in the Copperas Cove\Killeen Area

I am an avid coffee drinker and still have to have my first cup to get me going in the morning. I use to could not start my day off right without my first cup of coffee. I would always hit up one of the local coffee places for a nice cup of vanilla latte. Vanilla latte is my favorite coffee flavor to drink in the morning. I know coffee contains caffeine and is supposed to make you hyper but coffee actually calmed me down a bit. I'm going to let you know about some local coffee shops that are currently in my area that I know you would love to get a cup of coffee from to start your day off right.

1. The first coffee house is called Bean Tree Espresso. This little coffee shop is located on Highway 190 in Copperas Cove. Bean Tree Espresso offers a place for your friends and family to sit inside or outside to enjoy your beverage. The inside of the coffee shop has nice little tables and chairs if you want to bring your laptop to surf the internet or nice couches and chairs if you and a couple of friends want to drink your coffee and chat. There is also a nice wooden deck in the back of the coffee shop with picnic tables and umbrella shades for you or your friends to have a nice hangout when the weather is nice. The Bean Tree Espresso also offers a drive thru for when you are in a hurry and just want to grab that special cup of coffee on your way in to work. This is actually my favorite part of the coffee shop. The Bean Tree Espresso Coffee shop is open seven days a week. The hours are Monday - Thursday from 6am to 8pm, Friday from 6am to 9pm, Saturday from 7am to 9pm, and Sunday 9am to 6pm. The Bean Tree Espresso has a variety of hot and cold drinks and even sweets for you to purchase while you drink your beverage. The price range for The Bean Tree Espresso Coffee Shop is from $2.25- $5.00. This is actually pretty reasonable for the variety of hot and cold drinks that they offer so you should check out The Bean Tree Espresso today.

2. The second coffee house in Copperas Cove is called the Bru Thru Daiquiri and Coffee drive thru. The Bru Thru is located at 1905 East Highway 190. You pass this coffee house every time you leave or enter Copperas Cove. It is exactly like the name sounds. This coffee house was originally a drive thru alcohol beverage shop for Copperas Cove but has recently added the drive thru coffee service to it. The Bru Thru only offers a drive thru service where someone takes your order and walks out your drink to you. This was kind of odd to me the first time that I tried it but their vanilla lattes are actually pretty good tasting. The Bru thru is open seven days a week. The hours are Monday - Thursday from 9am to 10pm, Friday - Saturday from 9am to Midnight, and Sunday from Noon to 10pm. The Bru thru offers a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages that you can choose from and is very comparable to a gourmet coffee house. The Bru Thru coffee house is a little more expensive and the price range is from $3.50- $7.00 a cup of hot or cold coffee because you are paying for the convenience of not having to get out of your vehicle. So it is really up to you if you want the convenience of going thru a drive thru and having your drink delivered.

3. I'm sure that everyone knows what a Starbucks is. We have a few Starbucks located in Killeen which is about 10 miles away from Copperas Cove. Starbucks has a wide range of hot and cold coffees and teas to choose from. The Starbucks in Killeen is located at Highway 190 and Trimmier. This area is a little hard to get to from the highway but is worth it once you can make your way through the streets of Killeen. The hours are very good. Starbucks is open seven days a week. The hours Monday-Sunday are 6am - Midnight. These hours are very good for the early risers and late night coffee drinkers. This Starbucks Coffee House offers an inside dining area with free wireless connections for anyone who brings their laptop and wants to enjoy their drink and surf the internet. Or if you are in a hurry, this Starbucks coffee location offers a quick and friendly drive thru with a full menu. The price ranges for the Starbucks brand of coffee ranges from $3.00 - $6.00. I enjoy drinking hot coffee from Starbucks because I know that this is a chain that I am very familiar with.

I've highlighted three of my favorite local coffee shops in the area. These three are the bigger coffee shops in my area. However, I know that the fast food places do offer decent hot and iced coffees in the morning at lower prices. If you drink gourmet coffee religiously and are looking for a place that is friendly and will serve you up a delicious cup of coffee then I recommend checking out one of the above coffee houses that I mentioned above.
