All too often community colleges are looked at as being something lower class, a poorly run institute of learning. However, there are many community colleges in the Fort Worth area that offer high levels of learning that can be found at any expensive college or university. The following is a brief review of five of the colleges found in the area.

Texas Wesleyan University:

Programs offered:
Undergraduate schools- School of Business, School of Education, School of Arts and Science.
The School of Business offers: accounting, business administration, computer information systems, finance, international business administration, management, and marketing
The School of Education offers: early childhood- 4th grade, early childhood/bilingual - 4th grade, exercise science, athletic training, recreation diving management, and kinesiology.
The School of Arts and Science offers: advertising/public relations, art, biology, chemistry, computer science, english, government/legal studies, history, journalism, mass communication, mathematics, music, philosophy and religion, psychology, radio - television, sociology/criminal justice, Spanish, and theatre.
Graduate programs: Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Education, Master of Education in Administration, Master of Arts in Professional Counseling, Master of Science in School Counseling, Nurse Anesthesia, and Juris Doctor.

Undergraduate Schools- With five campuses located throughout Fort Worth, and its suburbs, TCC offers the following programs: Arts, Business, Communication, Education, Health, Languages, Math and Sciences, Public Services, Social Sciences, Technology, and Transportation Technology.
Graduate programs: As TCC only offers Associate Degrees, there is no graduate program.
Tuition and fees: $50 per credit hour

College of St. Thomas Moore:
