Diggin' Deep utilizes court records, land deeds and other filed information kept at court houses to help find a family history. Because traveling is often essential, Diggin' Deep does charge hourly and for gas or hotel expenses. Expect to pay $15.00 dollars for the first hour and an additional $20.00 per hour after that. Dittmar charges 40 cents a mile and a $10/hr flat fee for travel time. Parking fees or other incurred charges are also billed to the customer.

Another option is the Oklahoma Genealogical Society. This non-profit organization was created in 1955 to connect Oklahomans to their ancestry. Memberships in the society costs $20.00 a year for individuals or $25.00 a year for families. With the membership, the society also sends out a quarterly paper which includes various genealogical topics.
