Local Hainanese Chicken Rice

Anya
Ever tried Hainanese Chicken Rice? Hainese Chicken Rice is a famous local food amongst the Hainan Community, its steamed chicken served with fragrance rice and with some side dishes like bean sprouts and fish ball soup. Its not only popular in Malaysia but also in Singapore. There are plenty of restaurant and hawker stalls selling this dish and sometimes you just do not know which ones are nice and which ones are not. Some places claim they are the best but in some occasion it does not turn out as what they claimed they are. I guess all you have to do is just try the food yourself and judge yourself on you. For me I like this particular stall near my house, so if you have not and you live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or you are here for holiday, I would recommend you to go to this chicken rice stall and try their Hainanese Chicken Rice. The chicken is tender and juicy, and the sauce compliments the chicken so well which make this whole dish so tasty, do add on a plate of bean sprouts and a bowl of fish ball to make it a complete meal. This stall is located at Damansara Damai in a corner shop houses, its next to a car wash shop. Not only their food is nice, the couple that run this stall is very friendly people, cause I am a regular there, they usually know what I want to order and sometimes we chat while waiting for my order. I think their stall have the best business in the coffee shop cause they are always busy taking orders and serving.

Other than chicken rice, this stall serve
Rice noodle soup
Fish Ball Noodle Soup
Curry Noodles

They are open on Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 8.30pm

If you are into local food , there are a few variety of food in the coffee shop, during the day there's Fried Rice Noodle, Pork Noodle Soup, Mixed Rice and some other stalls.
You will see more stalls open during the evening time to late night, one of it is Herbal Pork Soup ( Bak Kut Teh) this is a mixture of pork meat and ribs cooked in some herbal soup then served with white rice and some chopped chillies in soya sauce.
