Local Restaurant Review: Ariana's Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant in Levittown, Pennsylvania

Katie
Ariana's Pizzeria and Italian restaurant, located at 230 Levittown Parkway in Levittown, Pennsylvania, is a small and traditional pizza place, with fabulous food and quick service. Ariana's is close to many neighborhoods that otherwise wouldn't have a local pizza parlor so close by.

The pizza is really good, traditional thin crust with a tangy, flavorful sauce and just the right amount of cheese. It's always crispy, always hot and always ready when they say it will be. We often order up to seven pizzas for parties and we have yet to have complaint with Arian's quality. Ariana's offers traditional toppings such as pepperoni and mushrooms as well as more exciting options such as sliced baked potatoes or sun-dried tomatoes. They also feature specialty pizzas; our favorite is the Chicken Parmigiana Margarita, which is topped with plum tomatoes, fresh garlic and basil and mozzarella cheese.

Their appetizers are good, and they're large, enough for a whole meal! My favorite is the Toasted Ravioli, which are breaded, then deep friend ravioli served with marinara dipping sauce. Their Potato Skins appetizer is equally delicious, made with fresh potatoes and topped with two cheeses, bacon and served with sour cream on the side. They're crisp and always delicious.

Ariana's salads are also a meal in and of themselves. The Antipasto is delicious, always fresh and always served with a good portion of dressing and bread with butter. The Caesar or Greek salads would also be an excellent choice for someone who wants a lighter meal.

For lunch, try one of Ariana's many sandwiches. They have over fifty hot and cold sandwiches, triple-decker clubs and hoagies on their menu. Their Italian Specialty Sandwiches are a sure bet, the Chicken and Broccoli Rabe sandwich is my favorite, the charbroiled chicken topped with slightly bitter broccoli rabe and fresh cheese is fabulous. The Roast Pork Italiano sandwich is equally favorable as seasoned roast pork, broccoli rabe and melted provolone cheese are topped with a rich pork gravy.

Ariana's also has a small dining area available for dining in for both lunch and dinner. If you stop by for dinner, be prepared to have your food served to you on the counter and get your own drink out of the cooler, as Ariana's does not have a waitress available. Their dinners are tasty, however it's best to take them home. Our favorite pasta selections include their gnocchi served with either Marinara, Pesto or Alfredo sauce as well as their homemade Lasagna. Each dinner is served with a salad as well as bread with butter.

Ariana's is a great place for take-out, but I do not recommend dining in. Their service is fast, efficient but honestly, the staff is not very pleasant so take their delicious dishes home to comfort of your own kitchen table.
