Local Review: Little Italy Italian Restaurant in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey
Are You Looking for Great Italian Food in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey? If So, Little Italy is Your Choice
The appetizers at Little Italy restaurant are a combination of traditional Italian restaurant appetizers and also some that take inspiration from the location of Wildwood Crest, New Jersey on the ocean. There is a selection of 16 appetizers, with the traditional Italian offerings including fried ravioli and fried mozzarella. There is also clams casino and calamari fritti for the seafood lover. These appetizers range to fit any budget from $3 to $11. As with any good Italian restaurant, Little Italy also offers all you can eat salad and breadsticks with every entree ordered.
Speaking of entrees, Little Italy in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey has a great variety of pastas. As a matter of fact there are 11 of them. Made in the restaurant include pastas such as ravioli, gnocci, tortellini, cavatelli, and fettucini. If you want different varieties there is also spaghetti, angel hair, linguini, penne, and rigatoni pastas but those selections are not made on site. The sauces are great, and all are homemade. The marinara sauce has a little bit of spice and sweetness to it, and would make any Italian mother proud.
In general entrees range from the $10-15 range for pasta dishes, with the homemade pastas being at the higher end of that range. Chicken dishes are in that same price range, with some approaching $20. Most of the seafood dishes as Little Italy in Wildwood Crest are between $20 and $25. My favorite dinner dish at Little Italy is the pasta with Italian Sausage. The Italian Sausage packs a nice heat with it. The chicken parmigiana is also nicely done, crip on the outside and the chicken is moist as it should be inside. My wife is a big fan of the lasagna at Little Italy in Wildwood, New Jersey.
Keep in mind that with Little Italy Italian Restaurant being located in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey they can not serve liquor. You are welcome to bring your own with you though, as is the policy in almost all Wildwood Crest, New Jersey Restaurants. If you want an early dinner any day of the week other than Saturday you can save same extra money. There is a list of fourteen items, including even some seafood selections for $11.95. These early bird specials include a garden salad instead of the typical all you can eat salad. They cost for the early bird specials is $11.95 per entree. Depending on the item you order, you can save anywhere from 30 percent up to close to 50 percent off normal costs.
Little Italy is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the Wildwoods, and worth driving into Wildwood Crest, New Jersey while on vacation to enjoy.
