Visitors can enjoy a hands-on exhibit, look at the Mongol weaponry collection and more than 200 artifacts that have never been seen outside Mongolia. Live Mongolian cultural performances are also available.

The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum will host its annual Ancient Egyptian Epagomenal Festival, starting July 24th. There will be a variety of tours, lectures and workshops as well as a wide variety of children's activities. Guests are encouraged to dress up in Egyptian costume and participate in their costume show.

    I went there once, when I was around 10, and still remember the mummified cats to this day. That was the strangest thing I've ever seen in my life. I think your daughter would love this museum. :)

    Too bad we aren't in California. My daughter would love the Egyptian Festival! We'll have to see if we can get in a visit to that museum sometime! She is so into anything Egyptian.
