Local Talent Lies to Get Publicity

It's a shame when people would do anything to be able to make it to the gossip headlines. It's even a worse shame when an establishment would support such antics. The Television and Production Exponent, Inc. (TAPE, Inc.) supported a report made by three members of a local dance group in a noontime show for having been harassed when the truth is that these girls turned a scandal that they started into a publicity stunt, claiming that they were victims of harassment.

The contents of this article is in no way official. The reports given by the dancers were made public but the other party was not given due opportunity to give their side (fully). I got my story from a friend of the (other) party involved - which is fortunate because that makes it one less soul buying the reported lies, and unfortunate because I could not get a first hand account of the incident.

Last October 5, Sunday night, these three girls, who will remain unnamed through out the article in order to avoid contributing to their aim of become more famous, were lined up in a Krispy Kreme Donut Hauz to get their doughnut fixes. On a report that they gave the next morning, the girls claimed that they were harassed by a couple when they allegedly "mistakenly cut into their line".

They say that the Missus pinched one of them on her lower shoulder while she was paying for her purchase on the counter. Then the Missus was reported to have "called them insulting names and cast aspersions on their character". Then a security guard escorted the three dancers out of the shop where the husband supposedly was waiting for them, blocking their exit. One of the girls started to apologize but neither the husband nor the wife would listen, instead, they continued to berate them with insults. The report continues that when the girls were about to leave, the husband threw his coffee at one of them. That girl is supposed to be suffering first degree burns.

The girl who got coffee spilled all over her even appeared crying in the television. And it was all an act.

What really happened was that the three dancers purposefully cut in line in front of a family. They were noisy and were obviously trying to attract attention. When the mother tried to ask them to go at the end of the line, they started a commotion by cursing out loud and by insulting the mother. Then they went ahead and started to insult the daughter as well. The father did not want to be involved in any way so he decided to stay outside the shop. One of the girls kept on shouting "STUPID PAKER!" ("stupid fucker" said with a very strong accent). The daughter reccounted that she wouldn't have minded letting them have their fill of the scandal they made, only if they would swear properly. As for the father who threw his coffee, it was self defense. Not in the sense that somebody had a knife against his throat, but of a girl running after him and verbally assaulting him.

What these girls should be more concerned with is that the family that they unwittingly chose to pick on did not even know that they were somewhat famous. What they fail to see is that there is such a class in the country that do not watch noontime shows for entertainment. The publicity that they made roughly affected them, what the family is mostly concerned right now is the case that these girls are making - which is hopefully just for show, something that they should drop instantly when the issue dies in the gossip radar because they seriously do not have a case to present.

For an after thought: wouldn't you wonder why it were the girls who were escorted outside the shop if they were the victims of the scandal?
