Logan Ohio's Hotels and Motels

In Logan, Ohio you will have many options for lodging, however the majority of accommodations in this scenic part of the country are bed and breakfast type rentals and of course there are literally hundreds of cabins which are available year round. Logan offers primitive and RV camping as well. If you are looking for a hotel or motel in Logan Ohio, your choices will be extremely limited.

Logan offers two local motels. The Shawnee Inn is located just about a mile outside of Logan, conveniently located with access to state route 664 and US highway 33, this is the better of the two motels in Logan, Ohio. The rates are affordable and the rooms are clean. The Inn Towner is located in downtown Logan. The rooms are much cheaper, but they are also pretty old, no telephone or cable. It is not a very clean motel either. If I were making a recommendation, I would say spend the extra twenty dollars a night and stay at the Shawnee Inn.

Among your other options are The Baymont Inn and suites, located on the grounds of Remple's Grove, where you will enjoy an indoor pool, and nice rooms. As you would expect, the rooms are about eighty dollars a night. This is the former Amerihost Inn, and it is one of the best Logan has to offer in the terms of hotels and motels. The Remple's Grove area is small but pleasant and historical. You can enjoy some of Logan's finest shopping at Remple's Grove. The Midwestern glass company has an outlet shop here, there is a nice bulk foods store, a massive antique shop, canoing, miniature golf and a small petting zoo among others at Remple's Grove. Arby's and the Olde Dutch Amish restaurant are also located at Remple's Grove.

Last, but not least is The Holiday Inn Express, which is located near The Shawnee Inn. The Holiday Inn is the city's newest hotel, you can enjoy the indoor pool and fitness room as well as fresh baked cinnamon rolls at the Holiday Inn, rooms are about one hundred dollars a night.

If you seek a superb getaway you may want to look into the Glen laurel Inn and Spa, a charming country Scottish inn. This is a lot more expensive than your traditional hotel. If you were thinking about something more affordable and rustic try camping at Top of the Caves campground, near Old Mans Cave on State Route 664 south.
