The Logitech Harmony 1100 Advanced Universal Remote ($349.99) can turn on multiple devices in the correct order with the touch of a single button. It can replace up to 15 remotes, which makes it a good option if you have an extensive entertainment system with a large number of remotes required to control everything. It supports over 225,000 different devices It has a 3.5" backlit color touch screen which can be used to access all of the controls. It is rechargeable, and comes with a charging station. The remote is RF Wireless capable, which means it can control devices you can't see with a Logitech Harmony RF Extender (sold separately).
With the Logitech Harmony 1100 Advanced Universal Remote you can choose which commands you want to see on screen and when. This lets you unclutter the screen and see only the functions you use often, at the times when you typically use them. To set the remote up, plug it into your computer via the provided USB cable. Input the model numbers of the devices you want the remote to control, and answer the questions asked to tell the remote what you want it to be able to do. After that you are good to go. In order to integrate the Logitech Harmony 1100 Advanced Universal remote with your computer, you must have Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or 7. If you have a Mac it must be Mac OS X 10.3-10.5.
The Logitech Harmony 1100 Advanced Universal Remote comes with the remote, charging station, USB cable, AC adapter, litihum-ion battery, installation CD, quick start guide, and features guide. It also comes with a 1-year limited hardware warranty.
