Logitech Trackman Trackball Mouse: Does This Trackball Mouse Live Up to the Hype?

Jack Woods
The Logitech Trackman Trackball Mouse that I bought some time ago has been in perfect working condition and there is not one complaint. Thus, I decided to share my good experience with this piece of computer hardware.

The contours

The Logitech Trackman Trackball Mouse is so designed as to let your arms and forearms be at rest while at the computer. This device designed in a way, so that it is very different from the conventional mouse. In this device, it is the thumb which moves the scroll wheel, the index finger is placed on the left click button, and the ring finger is placed on the right click button. The pressing of the scroll wheel activates a multi-directional scroll in any window which needs scrolling.

Taking care of it

The Logitech Trackman Trackball Mouse has a design unmatched in its class. The trackball is placed in a way, so that it can be conveniently removed by just simply turning the cover to a quarter. This device features a laser movement sensor and is placed between 3 little beads. The primitive X-Axis and Y-Axis rubber based rollers have given way to the laser picker. Although keeping the Logitech Trackman Trackball clean is quite an issue, despite this, it is a top performing mouse, even with the sweat and grime that may collect over the ball and other buttons off your fingers.

How long will it last

Even after continuous usage over several years, the Logitech Trackman Trackball is as fine as it was when I bought it. The length of the electric cord is simply good enough at over 2 meters of cable. Although this device remains rested over a surface, the cord does help out, if your CPU cabinet is far away. This device is as new as it was the first time i got it. The sheen and shine of the texture of the Logitech Trackman Trackball still remains. The wheel and the buttons are as responsive as new.

How to install and configure

The device makes it very easy to plug into a PC and start using it right away, no more installation is required than the plugging in. Just go to the control panel and change the settings of the device for a customized experience. The Powertoys Tweak-UI free download offered by Microsoft is excellent for changing the settings and mouse on for a long time to come.

The Logitech Trackman Trackball probably costs a whole lot less than it did when I purchased it. Whatever the case, it definitely is a pal to consider.
