You can use any marinade you like for London broil. If you don't have a favorite marinade, there are some easy marinade recipes at the end of this article. To marinade your London broil, prepare the meat by pounding it with a meat hammer, or by sticking it all over with a fork. Then place the meat in a shallow container or a zip lock food storage bag. Pour the marinade over the meat and let the meat stand in the refrigerator overnight. You can shake the container or the bag now and then to allow all the meat to marinate.
If you like stir fry, and if you want very tender London broil, you can cut the raw meat at an angle against the grain and marinade the thin slices. Then you can use the slices for stir fry. A good marinade for thin slices of London broil is teriyaki sauce straight from the bottle. Just add enough for it to almost cover the meat, then turn the meat several times during the marinating process.
If you like mushrooms or onions on your steak, you can saute some in leftover marinade just before cooking your London broil. Then serve on top of your steak.
