Plan your dinner at night for an especially romantic meal. The only downside is the food is pricey but in the end may be all worthwhile as you are gazing down at the Thames while eating your meal.

If you're after a romantic vacation that is quieter and outside of the busy city of London, you can always go and visit one of the countryside areas of London. One place is Hampstead. Hampstead is a quiet village with miles of lovely greenery which offers a uniquely therapeutic way of enjoying a romantic vacation. Hampstead High is a wilderness that has remained untamed. Discover the hidden jewels in its ponds. Go take a swim, go on a boat ride, and sail on a model boat. If you can swing it, plan to go in the autumn, where you can experience an awesome show of colourful foliage that can rival the display set in the eastern part of the US.

Windsor is another city of high romantic calibre. This remains the only castle that is inhabited and is the current residence of the Queen. This majestic castle carries itself with a grace and regal beauty that defies her age of being more than eight centuries old. This castle holds many stories of medieval history. Take a guided tour of the schools and learn of the styles of the rich.

Definitely do not miss seeing Leed's Castle in Kent County. Leed's Castle is touted as the most romantic in England. There is an idyllic tranquility and quiet beauty, with approximately five hundred acres of beautifully landscaped parklands. There is actually a moat surrounding the castle to add to this picturesque image.
