And I see that you have moved on
For that I cannot fault you
Looking for the happiness
Which I cannot seem to give

I suppose I should be angered
Ticked and pissed beyond belief
Instead, I find myself hoping
That you've found happiness again

For me, at this time I walk the high trails
Like a lone wolf high above the tree line
Walking the snow-covered trails
Searching for my lost soul

I wish I could shed a tear
For that which I have now watched
Slip silently from my fingers
...and yet I sit and hope...hope for your happiness...

Regardless of what happens in the future
Regardless of who you find to fill your void
My heart was and always will be yours
Regardless what the future holds

The lone wolf moves along
His snowy paths on high
