Lonesomeness
This night
I have typed of
Dionysus and Aphrodite.
An elegiac verse of desire
To an archangel some
Say Islamic,
Others Judeo-Christian
In origin.
Death his kingdom,
Azreal his name.
Another
To a lover;
Faded and lost
To shadows after
Another.
Still more
I wrote on the
Dementia Praecox
I call customary.
Tonight
Words have no
Normalcy,
Poetry,
No passion -
No fury even.
Only the
Drifting solitude
Of a mad man
Railing wordlessly:
Lonesomeness.
