Long Lashes with Lash Stiletto Mascara from Maybelline

Big sexy eyelashes - who doesn't want them? While I wear very little makeup unless I am going out or it is a special occasion, I don't scrimp on mascara. I like to emphasize my green eyes with good mascara that plays up my lashes. I already have good lashes that are naturally long and dark, but a good mascara certainly helps add drama, length and thickness. After seeing it advertised on television, I decided to give Maybelline's Lash Stiletto mascara a try and I have been happy with the product.

Lash Stiletto comes in three colors - soft black, brown black and very black. There is a regular formula and a waterproof formula. Lash Stiletto washes off very easy with plain soap and water or eye makeup remover, which is a plus. It doesn't seem to aggravate my contact lenses, which is often a drawback to many mascaras I try.

In reading other online reviews, some people have mentioned the smell of the mascara. It does have an odd scent, but I did not find it to be particularly unpleasant and once I applied the Lash Stiletto mascara to my lashes, I didn't notice it at all. If you are more sensitive to smells this might be a drawback, but it has not been an issue for me.

The cost of the Lash Stiletto was in the seven to eight dollar range at my local Wal-Mart. At first I was a little put off by this higher cost as the mascaras I have normally used were in the four to five dollar range. After looking around, though, I found that most of the special formula mascaras for lengthening or thickening seem to be higher priced. Upon discovering this, the price did not bother me as much, but especially so after I used the Lash Stiletto mascara.

When using Lash Stiletto, several coats of the mascara can be applied but don't allow your lashes to dry between coats. I apply several coats in succession to get the maximum effect of long, pretty lashes.

I have been very pleased with the Lash Stiletto's non-clumping formula and the fact that it doesn't seem to flake off.

Will I buy Lash Stiletto mascara from Maybelline again? Yes, I do believe so. I am very happy with the product and pleased with the results it promises and delivers.
